How it plays

    Speed is earned. The slope pays. A bad landing costs.

    Capture the flag, five a side. You are carrying the fire.

    The chase

    A clean run gets away. A sloppy one gets caught. The defender can win the race.

The maps

What it is

Carry the Fire is a free multiplayer shooter that runs in your browser. Ski the slopes, jet over the ridges and fire the disc launcher, in capture the flag matches of up to five a side, or practise your lines alone in the time trial. It is inspired by Starsiege: Tribes.

Is it free?
Yes. There is nothing to buy.
Do I need to download anything?
No. It runs in your browser.
What do I need to play?
A keyboard, a mouse and a desktop browser. We test it in Chrome.
Can I play on a phone?
Not yet. It needs a keyboard and a mouse, so play on a computer.
Where are the servers?
In Oceania, two of them: OCE 1 and OCE 2. More regions are to come.
Do I need an account?
No. Sign in with Discord, or pick a name and play as a guest.
Is it like Tribes?
Yes. It is inspired by Starsiege: Tribes, played light: skiing, jetpacks, discs and capture the flag, with no bases to defend.
